Testimonials

  • " Graeme and Ant are fantastic to work with and really great blokes. As a batsman you know that booming a cover drive along the floor was a good shot, and that something went wrong with the one that you dragged on to middle stump; or as a bowler, you know the short and wide long hop would probably end up being picked up from the boundary fence and the delivery that swung late and ripped off stump out of the ground is a beauty. Simply identifying these things isn't coaching. Noticing issues in your technique, showing you why they are hindering you performance then teaching you the correct method, why it works and then taking you through drills to hammer this correction into your muscle memory, that's coaching. In my personal experience I went from clothing balls left right and centre, to confident, well struck drives in the first 15 minutes. From then on, each time I train with either of these guys you learn more, refine your technique and ultimately play better. Couple this technical knowledge with the strength and conditioning advice I've gained from S&C Coach Lewis and I have a complete plan on how to improve as a cricketer. Training with Kaizen Cricket is one of the best decisions I've made, I've become a better player, gained confidence in my game and learned to really love playing cricket again. "

  • " During my stint at Derbyshire in 2015, I got to experience the passion and knowledge that this man has for the game, so it did not surprise me when Anthony informed me that he and Graeme had started an Academy. He is the type of person who will pass on insight and skill of the game in an energetic and caring manner, much needed in this day and age.  "

    - Hashim Amla (South African Cricketer)

  • " Just wanted to say thank you to Kaizen Cricket on behalf of George and the other boys from Duffield for the academy training you put on for the last few weeks.

The lads and indeed the Dad's have thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiastic, high energy programme and benchmarking and are missing it already! I thought you really engaged the boys and the parents.

The coaching and mentoring in a small group has really taken the boys to another level and offered them technical advice and tips that will really help them press on.

Looking forward to the next programme! "

    - John Fearnehough (U11 Manager - Duffield CC)
